So, had Zone Conference this week with Pres. Judd! It was great. Very different from Pres. Smith, but very nice. Pres. Smith would cut to the chase, get us started waaay early, and be out by 1200 or so, so that he wouldn't have to feed us lunch; hahaha. Pres. Judd, however, took his time, discussed plenty things, had us ponder over stuff, led discussions, and took a 15 minute break and had lunch, all before we even finished! We ended at about 1400. It was nice; Pres. Judd is a professor, and you can tell; haha.
Speaking of Pres. and Sis. Judd, turns out they have ancestors from the Martin Handcart Company. Sis. Judd was even nicknamed "Segolily" growing up. She really enjoyed the family story of how the Segolily became the Utah State Flower, with Wilhelmina and whatnot. [Martin Handcart Company is through David both Collings and Campbell - the Segolily story is through me via the Cannon line so Jacob is getting his stories mixed up.... :-)]
We had 4th of July; not much happened though. It was P-Day, so that means loads of washing by hand, which isn't fun. In other news, Angela came to Church this week, which was awesome! She didn't come last week, so I was worried. We also had 7 investigators at Sacrament! It was awesome.
One fun thing happened this week. We were contacted by a guy named Kwami Martinson. He had an awesome accent, and mentioned that he wanted to come to Church. So we gave him a pamphlet and told him the place and time. Well, Sunday came, and... he came! He loved everything, and when we met him at his house later that day, he introduced his family to us; 6 kids and a wife! I hope we will be able to baptize the whole family, in due time. Some of the older daughters had some doctrinal questions concerning the trinity, but I think that they'll be willing to pray and ask God, and come to know these things are true. Everything else will follow that.
Another thing: on Saturday, we did a small Ward Reactivation Activity with Bro. Ampofo (EQP) [Elders Quorum President] and a few of the others. Bro. Joe, the WML [Ward Mission Leader], came as well; more on him in a sec. Anyways, we went around Maami and contacted less/inactive members. It was quite nice; most of them were willing to come - they had just lost contact with the Church. We also had a few referrals and whatnot. If we could do this every week, it would really help the Ward.
As for Bro. Joe, he was concerned when he was called as WML, because he's not all that old in the Church and has never had such a position. We've been helping him know what to do, and man, has he been doing! He's been calling our investigators, visiting them, teaching with us... All sorts of stuff! He's doing the best job I've seen on mission as WML.
OH! Another story. I was helping some people fetch water yesterday, and one small girl had to take a big jug of about 30 l. to a far place, so I took it for her. Naturally, I carried it on my head like a Ghanaian; haha. Anyway, when we got to her place, some guy said thanks, and then mentioned that he was an inactive member, out of the blue. He introduced his family - none of which are members - and then told us to come back again and bring his children some Books of Mormon. It was very random, but awesome.
Sorry this is so rushed; my companion is playing basketball, and I'm here with the other DL or whatever (authorized, fyi). My time is running low.
I love you all! I know that this Gospel is True. I know that if you but read the Book of Mormon, 5 minutes a day, at least, you will receive wonderful blessing and peace in your life.

President Judd is a great person if what I've seen of him in the gospel discussions on BYU-TV is any indication. I had two mission presidents and the one who was a professor (of Child Developmental Psychology at Rockford College) was definitely my favorite. Eating together is a social activity and the society of individuals, families and friends is possibly the single most important thing in life.
