Monday, January 9, 2012 "Down to Business"

So, not much to report on this week. Which is good, 'cause that means that things were going normal; haha. Some failed appointments, but better than it's been in a while. My bike spoiled on Saturday - shaft, crank, and caps all died - so we had to walk the past few days, but I got it just a bit ago and it runs very nice! So that's good.

We're working with some people, and some seem to be progressing. February should be able to have some baptisms, which is awesome! I'm happy for them. William, the prison guard, wasn't able to come due to some confusion in the family as to where they were going on Sunday, so we're heading there Wednesday to talk with them and help them all commit to come Sunday - he thanked us for that when we told him over the phone.

In all honesty, other than that, I got nothing. Time is short, and I don't have much to say. It was a nice, busy week. We are working with our Ward, in the District, to help bridge the gap between the missionaries and the Wards. I'm thankful, because my Ward is already do amazingly well; I feel like the missionaries are already true members of the Ward, and our insights and opinions are valued. Our Ward is working hard and improving, and I'm very happy with them. We'll see how things go, but I'm very excited for everything.

I would encourage all of you to read the Book of Mormon. I feel that we're not valuing it as we should. We should be drinking from the waters therein every day of our lives; if we are not, we are missing a vital part of our happiness. I know that the Book of Mormon will bring a greater light into our lives, and Hea't feel the importance of it, everything period; it will all be answered and made clear to us as we prayerfully read from the Book of Mormon.

I love you all! I just got some stamps, so I'll be working on sending out letters ASAP. Transfers are next week, so I'll let you know what happens in...well, two weeks! 'Cause I'll be writing on Monday, but we won't know anything until Tuesday. Anyway, love you all; take care!
